Middle School (Grades 7-8)

The goal of the Bayside Middle School is to balance a strong academic curriculum with the needs of the young adolescent. This age group typically experiences tremendous growth and change over the seventh and eighth grade years; intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially. It is especially important to provide a solid program targeted specifically for their unique needs.

Many of the faculty work with students outside the classroom in numerous extra-curricular clubs, sports, and activities. Bayside provides a comprehensive program that maintains a balance of traditional and innovative teaching methods. The faculty emphasizes individual creativity, continued skill development, and the honing of thinking skills while supporting personal growth.
