Golf

Bayside offers a Varsity golf team, which consists of boys and girls in grades 7-12. The team wrapped up its 2005-2006 season with an impressive finish of 3rd in the 1A-2A State Gold Tournament.

Practice begins in February and lasts through April and is held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays until meets begin. The team practices on several local courses and plays teams in and around greater Baldwin County.

Five players are taken to each match. The team holds a "qualifier" round the week of each meet to determine the players. Sectionals are held at the end of April and the State Tournament is in May. Players provide their own clubs and shoes. Appropriate golf course dress is required.
