Track and Field

Schedule

Bayside offers a Varsity and a Middle School team for track and field.

Varsity - 9-12 grade
All students are welcome and must be at practice every day. Practice begins in mid-February - after school from 3:15-4:45 p.m. Competitions are usually on Tuesdays, Fridays and/or Saturday. Early season meets are typically held in Mobile or Baldwin county area. The Championship Meets are held in late April (Opelika) and the first weekend in May (Birmingham). About 20 students participate.

Middle School - 7 & 8 grade
All students are welcome and must be at practice every day. Practice begins in early March during the 7th period (PE). If students show great commitment, they can compete at the Varsity level and train after school. Competitions are usually held on Thursdays in April. About 35 students participate.
