Capital Campaign

“This is an exciting time for Bayside. It is essential that we improve our facilities so they are commensurate with the education that our children receive.”

--Joe Sullivan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and chairman of the Capital Campaign

Bayside Academy is known as a leader in college preparatory education. To continue this tradition, we have launched “Anchor the Future,” the $10 million Capital Campaign for Bayside Academy. With this campaign, Bayside will make the following needed capital improvements and enhancements that are essential to continue to provide our students with opportunities for success:
  • A new classroom building for grades 3-6. This two-story building will house language, science and computer labs on each floor combined with the latest technology.

  • A new Fine Arts Center will be the signature building on campus. It will have the look and feel of an arts center, but will complement the administration and other buildings on the bay. The theater will provide seating for 350 people, which will be used for the school’s theater program, assemblies, and for speaker events. Specialized classrooms for dance studio, music, visual and performing arts will also be housed in the building.

  • Additionally, the renovation of the Mitchell Hall classrooms will create a quadrant for grades 1-2, giving these students an area that is centrally located on campus, giving them easier access to the school’s Media Center and new playground. These classrooms will also include dedicated language, science and computer labs.

  • Three projects that are also a part of this campaign have already been completed: a new track, athletic seating, and playground.
