2009-2010 National Honor Society Inductions

Bayside Academy recently inducted 31 new members into the Pat Phillips Chapter of the National Honor Society. Students, parents, faculty and administrators gathered in Bayside’s Student Activity Center for a tapping ceremony to honor the new inductees.

The inductees included seniors Fern Graves, Madison Herring, Lee Pittman and Asad Qureshi; juniors John Clark and Spencer York; and sophomores Alec Averitt, Grahm Barnard, Whitfield Broughton, Scott Dahlke, Alexander Dyas, Martin Farrell, Charlotte Gill, Mary Frazier Hutchison, Graham Ives, Kylie Shae Keyser, Murphy Klumpp, Elizabeth Kolakoski, Adele Mantiply, Jordan Matthews, Kelton McClantoc, Michael McClay, Nikki Moorer, Blake Nelson, Lockett Nelson, Hannah Pate, Macy Spottswood, Claire Stuart, Joseph Vincent, Sydney Wasdin and Peyton Winstead.

To qualify for membership in the National Honor Society, students must possess high standards of leadership, character, service and citizenship. They must also maintain a minimum overall 90 average.
