Mrs. Lisa Wells’ Kindergarten class has been counting to the 100th day of school. As a way to celebrate this milestone, each child was given a play $100.00 bill, and then asked to brainstorm ways to help the people of Haiti with his or her $100 bill. The students had many creative ideas, but ultimately decided they really wanted to help the families and children of Haiti; so they went home and emptied their piggy banks and collected coins from family members. The class brought in $100.00 for Haiti and was so excited to help families in another country!
