The Bayside Academy Upper School Scholars’ Bowl team competed in the UMS-Wright Spring Invitational on February 9, 2010, and took the first place win. The Bayside Academy A team went undefeated (5-0) beating Escambia County A, Escambia Academy A, T. R. Miller A, St. Paul’s A and UMS-Wright A. As winners of the Pool A competition, they played Pool B winners (T. R. Miller B).They defeated T. R. Miller B and were awarded championship medals and a plaque.
The team will participate in Questions Unlimited Deep South Challenge on Feb. 27, 2010, in Montgomery. Their win at UMS-Wright qualified them for the national competition in the spring.
