The Bayside Builders’ Club, a service club for 5th and 6th graders, recently completed its first service project to help those in need. The students conducted a spare change drive, in which they collected all of the spare change they could find, raising a total of just over $1,000. The club donated $250 to Ecumenical Ministries in Fairhope, $500 to Waterfront Mission in Mobile, and $250 to Frontier Horizons, a mission to help an orphanage in Nicaragua. Teacher Aymie Warner sponsors the club.
