Where do funds raised by the Parents’ Association go?

For the 2009-2010 school year, each and every teacher received a supplement from the Parents’ Association to use in the classroom. Additionally, proceeds went toward the following:

  • Bathroom in Administration building
  • Couch for Nurses Station
  • Sam Small - Chemistry supplies
  • Claire Moran - books
  • Eva Buder - Spanish
  • Anji Gonzalez - 2 voice recorders
  • Charlotte Longfield - Math classroom supplies
  • Sally Wilson & Vivian Tarwater microscopes
  • HS microscopes

Mission Statement:
The mission of Bayside Parents' Association is to support, encourage and contribute to daily life at Bayside Academy. The Association's aim is to work alongside the Administration, faculty and students so that together we can experience the Spirit of Bayside to its fullest extent. It is our ambition to volunteer, award grants and cooperate with programs and projects that directly impact Bayside Academy and contribute to its ongoing growth, development and success.

Our major fund raiser is the Magazine Sale in the fall, usually September.
