  • More than 70% of the Class of 2005 scored 3 or better on one or more Advanced Placement tests, making them eligible for college credits.

  • Bayside offers more than 30 extracurricular programs and more than 25 athletic teams. In the 2005-2006 school year, five of our varsity athletic teams participated in the state playoffs, resulting in three state championships.

  • In 2005, Bayside won the National Chess Championship. In 2006, the team won the County Championship and competed in Moscow, Russia as part of the Chess for Peace program.

  • In 2006, Bayside students earned two Gold Key National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

  • Several upper school students are on the Making It Count National Student Advisory Council.

  • Several Bayside students actively volunteer for several charities, including Santa America, a national service organization that Bayside has adopted as its charitable partner, making it the first and only school to team up with Santa America.
