Admiral Scholarship Program

9th Grade Admiral Scholarship Program

Bayside Academy believes in honoring the gifts and talents of dedicated students and has created an Admiral Scholarship program for incoming 9th grade students from outside schools. These scholarships are for well-rounded students who embody Bayside Academy's core values. The scholarship award is up to 50% of the value of tuition.

New students applying to the 9th grade may apply to be considered for the Admiral Scholarship for the 2025–2026 school year. Please contact Admissions at admissions@baysideacademy.org before beginning an application.

Candidate Criteria

  • Mission-Appropriate

    Students should demonstrate potential to contribute to the mission of Bayside Academy:  To prepare students to be successful both academically and in life. These students will exhibit high character, a sense of responsibility, respect for self and others, and a commitment to excellence in all their endeavors.
  • Academic Achievement

    Students should demonstrate a commitment to academic achievement.
  • Leadership

    Students should show potential for leadership.
  • Extracurricular & Community Service

    Students should be involved in their school and wider community.

  • Application

    Students must complete the application process and obtain two letters of recommendation in addition to the recommendations required in the application.

    Please comment in the note section of the application if you are interested in being considered for the scholarship.
  • Interview & Shadow Day

    Students will be notified within two weeks of completing their application if they will be invited to interview for the Admiral Scholarship.
  • Notification

    The admissions committee will review the recommendations, testing results, application packets, and interview scores to select the scholarship recipients.
