How to Apply

Admissions Process

  • Inquire

    Complete an Online Inquiry or contact a member of our admissions team.
  • Tour

    To schedule a tour, please submit an Online Inquiry. Once your inquiry has been completed, go to the "Campus Tour" item on your child's checklist and click the "Schedule a Tour" button to select from available tour dates. Please contact Admissions Director Alisa Ascik if you need an alternate date or have any questions. We look forward to welcoming you to Bayside!
  • Apply

    Submit an Online Application and $125 fee for each applicant.  Please contact the Admissions Office before submitting an application.
  • Complete

    Complete your application by submitting the required application materials by the appropriate deadline. All checklist materials and assessments must be completed before the deadline. See the dates below for the 2024–2025 academic year deadlines.
    • Priority Enrollment Deadline: Friday, November 17, 2023 *We anticipate the Early Childhood Center (PK3, PK4, and kindergarten) will fill during the priority enrollment process.
    • General Admission Deadline: Friday, March 1, 2024
    • Rolling Admission: Rolling Admissions will begin in April in grades where seats are available. 
  • Decision

    The admissions team will contact you via email with an admissions decision.

  • Early Childhood Center (PK3)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
    • PK3 Parent Questionnaire
    • "Get to Know Bayside" Family Meeting
    PK3 applicants must be age 3 by September 1st of the fall they will start school

    The classes in our Early Childhood Center usually fill during the priority enrollment period. 
  • Early Childhood Center (PK4 and Kindergarten)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Parent and Teacher Questionnaires
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
    • Assessment  (a member of the Admissions Team will contact you to schedule the assessment once an online application has been received)
    PK4 applicants must be age 4 by September 1st of the fall they will start school.
    Kindergarten applicants must be age 5 by September 1st of the fall they will start school.

    The classes in our Early Childhood Center usually fill during the priority enrollment period.
  • Lower School (Grades 1–4)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Unofficial Transcript
    • Principal Recommendation
    • Teacher Recommendation
    • Assessment (a member of the Admissions Team will contact you to schedule the assessment once an online application has been received)
    • Standardized Test Scores (Grades 3 & 4)
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
  • Middle School (Grades 5–8)


  • Upper School (Grades 9–12)
