Trey McKean '23 Named WKRG's Scholar-Athlete of the Week
Senior Trey McKean has been named WKRG's inaugural Scholar-Athlete of the Week. Tune in to WKRG's 4 p.m. broadcast on Tuesday, August 23 to watch!
Trey serves as the cross country team captain, received the 2021 Hardest Worker award for the cross country team, and was a member of the 2021 State Champion cross country team, the 2021 State Champion outdoor track and field team, and the 2020 State Champion indoor track and field team. Additionally, he received the 11th grade Socratic Award, the 10th grade Elizabeth Bramlett-Donnell Book Award, and the 9th grade Outstanding Achievement in Science. He was named a Junior Marshal, a distinction given to the four juniors with the highest GPAs. He is also active in the St. James Episcopal Church Youth Group and Young Life.
