Ty Postle '23 and Annie Midyett '25 Named Runners of the Week

Senior Ty Postle and sophomore Annie Midyett were selected by the Mobile Optimist Club as 1A–5A Runners of the Week for their performances at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville on Saturday, September 17.
Ty and Annie, along with Coach Joe Swagart, were recognized at the Mobile Optimist Club’s luncheon on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
 
Annie Midyett posted a seasonal best time of 19:45, finishing 6th in the Blue division. Annie helped lead our young women to a 3rd place overall finish out of 51 scoring teams. Ty Postle also ran a seasonal best time of 16:30, just one second off of his personal best. Ty finished 9th overall in the Blue division where our young men finished 14th overall out of 57 scoring teams.
