Grace Dawson '25 Named Runner of the Week
Sophomore Grace Dawson was selected by the Mobile Optimist Club as 1A–5A Runner of the Week for her performance at the AHSAA 5A State Meet, which was competed on Saturday, November 5.
Grace, along with Coach Joe Swagart, was recognized at the Mobile Optimist Club’s luncheon on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
Grace ran a personal best time of 20:49 at the state meet and placed 19th in 5A in her first season with cross country. She helped Bayside’s young women secure a State Runner-Up 5A finish.
