AISA State Visual Arts Competition Winners

Bayside students brought home big accolades from the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) State Visual Arts Competition.
The state competition was held at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

Lucas Brooks ’35: 1st Place, Painting (K–1st Grade Division)
Cora Rochofski ’35: 1st Place, Black & White Drawing (K–1st Grade Division)
Branch Thomas ’33: 1st Place and Best of Show, Collage (2nd–3rd Grade Division)
Alexander Green ’32: 1st Place, Printmaking (2nd–3rd Grade Division)
Samuel Carpenter ’23: 1st Place, Photography (9th–12th Grade Division)

Charlotte Denniston ’31: 2nd Place, Mixed Media (4th–5th Grade Division)
Harrison Foster ’25: 2nd Place, Arts and Crafts Pottery (9th–12th Grade Division)
Fennel Hamilton ’23: 2nd Place, Painting (9th–12th Grade Division)
Harrison Foster, Wilder Nelson, Lucas Brooks, and Samuel Carpenter will have their work advance to the Southeastern Commission of Independent Schools (SECIS) Art Show. The SECIS encompasses the independent school associations of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina.
