8th Graders Participate in Model UN

Hugh Ashurst, Lila Clark, Joey Dorman, Bax Fargason, Holden Gray, Cutler Grice, and Austin Pete Williams served on the Disarmament Committee (DISEC) with the topic of addressing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Savannah Cochran, Mary Campbell Elmore, Allison Hagan, Pedro Benassi Monegatto, and Caroline Ernest served on the World Health Organization (WHO) with the topic of addressing Bioterrorism.

Over 100 high school and middle students from 12 schools took part in this conference. All of our delegates represented Bayside Academy’s student talent very well. Advisor Liz Mulligan was proud of their dedicated effort to perform well at their first MUN conference!
