Andrew Ray '30 Wins Spelling Bee

After 34 rounds, 7^th grader Andrew Ray was declared the winner and 7^th grader David Green named the runner-up. Third place went to Jeremy Ou in 6^th grade, and it should be noted that 4^th grader Mary Margaret Wells placed fourth. The 2025 championship word was flamboyant.

 

Andrew will represent Bayside Academy in the Baldwin County Spelling Bee. The event will be held virtually February 10–12.
