Amelia Wells '25 Awarded Energy Southeast Scholarship

Energy Southeast is a joint action agency that was formed in 1981 and is the wholesale power provider for 11 public power utilities in Alabama, including Fairhope. To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must receive electric service from an Energy Southeast member city and attend an Alabama college, university, or vocational school. Amelia plans to study biomedical sciences at Auburn University in the fall.

 

City of Fairhope Mayor Sherry Sullivan and Electric Superintendent Ben Patterson came to Bayside yesterday to present Amelia with the scholarship.
