Michael Bindon, MD

Dr. Michael Bindon is a native of Tuscaloosa and graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Classical Civilizations. He completed medical school and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. During his final year of residency in Emergency Medicine, he was chosen as Chief Resident. Following residency, Michael moved to Mobile to join Springhill Emergency Physicians, one of the only independent physician practices made up of all board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians in the state. He is now the president of Springhill Emergency Physicians as well as a co-owner of Urgent Care by the Bay in Daphne. He a past president of the Alabama Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has served on the Board of Directors for Springhill Medical Center. Michael and his wife, Jacy, live in Fairhope and have four children at Bayside:  Mia (12th grade), Ava (9th grade), Chad (6th grade), and Piper (4th grade).
