The Thomas F. Johnson Family Library

The Johnson Family Library and Innovation Center seeks to cultivate the 6 C's within each Bayside student (collaboration, community, creativity, communication, critical thinking, character education and citizenship). Within the Innovation Center, students and teachers have easy access to tech tools such as Lego Mindstorms EV3s, Spheros, Root Robots, Merge Cubes, a MakerBot 3D Printer and iPod Touches. This flexible space is available to classes during the school day for special projects and research. In addition to the Innovation Center,  the student library provides our community with easy access to our print collection and online resources and research databases. These resources support and enhance our PK-12th grade curricula, while concurrently offering 21st century knowledge-based information. In PK-2nd grades, students benefit from weekly library instruction. These classes seek to cultivate an individual love for reading and a passion for life-long learning.
