Bayside Academy provides need-based tuition assistance to qualified students in grades 7 through 12 each year. Bayside Academy does not grant academic or athletic scholarships. Both new and returning families are welcome to apply for tuition assistance. Bayside Academy adheres to the Principles of Good Practice of the National Association of Independent School (NAIS) in its administration of the tuition assistance program.

Tuition Assistance Application Process

All families applying for assistance must submit an online Parental Financial Statement (PFS) through the NAIS School and Student Services (SSS) portal.
  • To apply for aid, go to the SSS by NAIS family portalBayside’s School Code is 1519
  • Complete the PFS Online form
  • Upload supporting documentation electronically from within the PFS Online Dashboard (applications with incomplete supporting documentation will not be reviewed)
    • 2018 W-2s for all parents/guardians*
    • 2018 Federal Tax Return with all accompanying schedules*
    • 2018 Business Tax Return (if applicable)*

    *2019 tax returns should be submitted with applications submitted after April 15, 2020.

Important Dates

Current Families

    • Deadline for application is February 28, 2020. Families with students admitted after February 28, 2020 may apply for Tuition Assistance after the deadline.
    • Award notification will be sent beginning March 1, 2020.

New Families

    • Applications are reviewed beginning March 2020. A student going through the admissions process must be accepted prior to a review of his or her Tuition Assistance application by the committee.

      • All families receiving assistance must reapply each year.
      • All awards are reviewed and if needed revised annually.
      • Current Families must be in good standing with the Business Office before being considered for financial assistance.

Divorced and Separated Parents
Bayside Academy will consider the assets of the parent(s)/guardian(s) who are responsible for or contributing toward tuition.
