Nolan Tkac '25 and Shelby Fargason '26 Named Runners of the Week
Sophomore Shelby Fargason and junior Nolan Tkac were selected by the Mobile Optimist Club as the 1A–5A Runners of the Week for their performance at the Early Bird Invite on Saturday, September 16.
Shelby and Nolan, along with Coach Joe Swagart, were recognized at the Mobile Optimist Club’s luncheon on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Shelby's time of 19:04 (6th place overall in the race) makes her the third fastest young woman in Bayside school history and Nolan's time of 17:32 (31st overall) is very close to a new personal record for him.
