CHOOSE Act

CHOOSE Act Alabama

The Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students' Education Act of 2024 (CHOOSE Act) is administered by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR).

The CHOOSE Act makes refundable income tax credits called education savings accounts (ESAs) available to support the success of eligible K5-12th grade students in Alabama.

An ESA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at approved Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama.
  • $7,000 per participating student who is enrolled in a participating school.

As an approved ESP, Bayside's goal is for every family that wants an independent school education and qualifies for the CHOOSE Act tax credit to benefit from this legislation.

If you have friends, relatives, or neighbors who may qualify and are interested in a Bayside education for their children, ask them to apply for the CHOOSE credit then contact the Admissions Office.
