Bayside’s mission is to prepare students to be successful both academically and in life. These students will exhibit high character, a sense of responsibility, respect for self and others, and a commitment to excellence in all their endeavors.

The Bayside Honor Code
"Upon my honor, I pledge I will not lie, steal, cheat, plagiarize, or assist others in such actions."
Bayside's Honor Code was developed and implemented in the late 1990s through the collaborative effort of students, faculty members, administrators, and the Board of Trustees. Its purpose is to facilitate the free flow of academic thought in an atmosphere of personal responsibility, to enhance the growth and development of the individual, to strengthen trust between students and faculty, and to uphold the standards of integrity and excellence at Bayside. Above all else, Bayside’s Honor Code serves as a solemn “pledge of performance” for all community members to act honorably and with high character in all of their endeavors.
