Admissions

Welcome

In selecting an independent school as a learning community for your child, you are setting the groundwork for an educational experience that goes beyond didactic classroom learning. With a Bayside education, you are investing in the core values of a community that is committed to personal growth, educational empowerment, the development of civic responsibility, and an appreciation for environmental stewardship.
Bayside Academy faculty and staff partner with students and families to guide the development of students in academics, extracurricular activities, the arts, athletics, ethical reasoning, and meaningful citizenship. Beginning with our youngest Admirals, students are encouraged to learn how to question, to be contributors to their communities, to be good stewards of their talents, and to be responsible. A hallmark of a Bayside education is the degree to which every Bayside teacher and staff member is invested in education of the whole child so that each student is equipped with a sound moral character, responsibility for one’s actions, and a personal plan for an engaged, purposeful life.

Self-discovery is a critical component of growth in a college-prep school. In an increasingly complex world, education is vital. An independent school fosters and develops a college-success culture that goes far beyond gaining admission to college. At Bayside, our focus is on equipping students to maximize opportunities in and out of the classroom to earn a degree and make a difference in a chosen field, a community, and the world.
