How to Apply

Admissions Process

  • Inquire

    Complete an Online Inquiry or contact a member of our admissions team.
  • Tour

    Contact a member of our admissions team to schedule a tour or register for a Future Admirals Open House.
  • Apply

    Submit an Online Application and $125 fee for each applicant.

    Friday, November 5
    Early decision applications for PK3, PK4, and kindergarten for the 2022–2023 academic year are due by 3:00 p.m.  

    Wednesday, February 23
    Applications for Grades 1–12 for the 2022–2023 academic year are due by 3:00 p.m. 
    (If space remains after early decision acceptances have been made, applications for PK3, PK4, and/or kindergarten will also be considered.)
  • Complete

    Return the required application materials (click on the appropriate link below to learn more about the specific application requirements for each division).
  • Big Blue Envelope

    The admissions team will contact you via mail with an admissions decision.

  • Early Childhood Center (PK3)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
    • Parent Questionnaire
    PK3 applicants must be age 3 by September 1st of the fall they will start school

    Applicant files must be completed by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, for applications to be considered during early decision or by Friday, February 23, 2022, to be considered for the 2022–2023 academic year.
  • Early Childhood Center (PK4 and Kindergarten)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Assessment  (a member of the Admissions Team will contact you to schedule the assessment once an online application has been received)
    • Parent and Teacher Questionnaires
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
    PK4 applicants must be age 4 by September 1st of the fall they will start school.
    Kindergarten applicants must be age 5 by September 1st of the fall they will start school.

    Applicant files must be completed by Friday, November 5, 2021, for applications to be considered for early decision or by Friday, February 23, 2022, to be considered for the 2022–2023 academic year.
  • Lower School (Grades 1–4)

    • Online Application and $125 Application Fee
    • Unofficial Transcript
    • Principal Recommendation
    • Teacher Recommendation
    • Assessment (a member of the Admissions Team will contact you to schedule the assessment once an online application has been received)
    • Standardized Test Scores (Grades 3 & 4)
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Alabama Certificate of Immunization
    Applicant files must be completed by Friday, February 23, 2022, to be considered for the 2022–2023 academic year.
  • Middle School (Grades 5–8)


    Applicant files must be completed by Friday, February 23, 2022, to be considered for the 2022–2023 academic year.
  • Upper School (Grades 9–12)


    Applicant files must be completed by Friday, February 23, 2022, to be considered for the 2022–2023 academic year.
