Mr. Campbell is the right person to lead our Middle School at this important moment in Bayside’s history. Few people understand our community, our culture, and our mission as deeply as he does. Throughout his time at Bayside, Mr. Campbell has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our students, our faculty, and our core values. For that reason, Dr. Phillipps had already identified him as someone who would one day serve in a senior leadership position at Bayside, and we are grateful that he is now stepping into this important role.

 

Many of you know Mr. Campbell through his work as Assistant Head of Upper School, his previous service as Upper School Dean of Students and, perhaps most importantly, as an exceptional classroom teacher and coach. Across each of these roles, he has built a reputation for thoughtful leadership, sound judgment, and genuine care for others. He has consistently supported teachers, partnered with families, and invested in the success of every student entrusted to his care. He understands what makes Bayside special, and he is uniquely positioned to build upon the strong foundation already established within our Middle School.

 

As previously shared, Mason Dunn will serve as our new Middle School Dean of Students. We could not be more enthusiastic about the partnership he and Mr. Campbell will form. Together, they bring complementary strengths and a shared commitment to serving students, supporting teachers, and partnering with families. We are confident this leadership team will provide outstanding guidance for our Middle School community.
