Bayside Academy’s annual golf tournament is named for and played in memory of Mr. John A. Robertson, the chairman of Bayside’s founding Board of Directors. Bayside owes its existence to Mr. Robertson and his fellow founding board members who banded together more than fifty years ago to turn their dream into Baldwin County’s only independent school. We are grateful to Effie and Ty Thompson (P'27, P'30) for chairing this event.

The four-man scramble is traditionally held at The Lakewood Club in Point Clear and provides golf enthusiasts a chance to participate in a little friendly competition and fellowship on the greens, while raising funds to benefit Bayside and its students. By participating, you support academics, athletics, and the arts at Bayside Academy and help fuel our goal of providing the best possible independent school education for our students.
