Catherine Doyle '25 Named Runner of the Week

Catherine, along with Coach Joe Swagart, was recognized at the Mobile Optimist Club’s luncheon on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Catherine had a breakout performance at the Daphne Invite, winning a cross country race for the first time since her 8th grade year. Her 5K time of 19:03 is the second fastest in school history and ranks Catherine 19th in the state of Alabama regardless of classification. Bayside cross country competes this weekend at Jesse Owen's Classic in Moulton, AL, the site of the AHSAA State meet, and Catherine has high expectations for this weekend's race.
