Russell owns and serves as president of C-Sharpe Co., a general contracting company specializing in building restoration. Russell has been in the construction industry for over twenty years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science from Auburn University. He began his career with the Birmingham-based company Brasfield & Gorrie where he served as a senior manager and partner. Russell and his wife, Mary Lafitte, live in Fairhope and have five children, all of whom attend Bayside: William (9th grade), Caroline (7th grade), Elizabeth (5th grade), Mary Virginia (4th grade), and Louise (2nd grade).
