Billy Neill '26 Named Athlete of the Week
Senior Billy Neill was recognized by the Mobile Optimist Club as the 1A–5A Athlete of the Week for his recent track and field performance at the Saraland Invite.
He was recognized at the Optimist Club’s meeting today.
At the Saraland Invite on Friday, March 7th, Billy won the discus event with a throw of 163’ 8” and finished fourth in shot put with a throw of 44’ 9.25”. He is currently ranked second in the Alabama High School Sports Association in discus, regardless of classification, with a personal best of 165’ 4”.
