Five Students Earn 1st Place Awards at State Art Competition

Bayside had five students bring home First Place awards from the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) State Visual Arts Competition.

The state competition was held at Eastwood Christian School in Montgomery.

Bayside Academy First Place Winners

Tbug Baker ’27: 1^st Place, Photography (9^th–12^th Grade Division)

Alice Ogburn ’29: 1^st Place, Water Base (9^th–12^th Grade Division)

Violet Laymon ’38: 1^st Place, Painting (K–1^st Grade Division)

Mamie Powell ’38: 1^st Place, Photography (K–1^st Grade Division)

McGriff Walters ’38: 1^st Place, Drawing Non-Color (K–1^st Grade Division)
