Brad Hicks

Brad has served on Bayside's Board of Trustees since 2017 and served as chairman of the board from 2019–2023. He is a partner at the law firm of Stone Crosby, P.C., with offices in Daphne, Foley, and Bay Minette. Brad’s practice focuses on civil and probate litigation, advising small businesses, and advising clients on various issues from estate planning to real property. Brad graduated from Rhodes College with a degree in Political Science and served as a legislative aide in the United States House of Representatives for Congressmen Sonny Callahan and Jo Bonner. After leaving Capitol Hill, Brad graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law. Brad is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and previously served on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section. Brad is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, Georgia. He currently serves on the board of Feeding the Gulf Coast (formerly known as the Bay Area Food Bank). His wife, Ida Ross Swift Hicks, is President of Swift Supply, Inc., a local building materials supplier. Brad and Ida Ross live in Daphne with their three children: Jack (12th grade), Amelia (9th grade), and Janie (5th grade). The Hickses are members of St. James Episcopal Church in Fairhope.
