Catherine Doyle '25 & Madeline Dudley '25 Named Athletes of the Week
Juniors Catherine Doyle and Madeline Dudley were recognized by the Mobile Optimist Club as the 1A–5A Athletes of the Week for their recent track and field performances.
They were recognized at the Optimist Club’s meeting on Thursday, April 11.
Catherine was selected based on her performance at the Foley Lion Invite that was held at the University of South Alabama on Saturday, March 23. Catherine finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26 and was a member of Bayside’s winning 4x800 meter relay.
Madeline was selected based on her performance at the Mobile Challenge of Champions Invite that was held at St. Paul's Episcopal School on Saturday, April 6. Madeline finished second in high jump with a clearance of 5' 2".
Catherine currently ranks first in the AHSAA 4A in the 1600-meter run and 3200-meter run while Madeline ranks first in high jump.
